Alexandra Badia

Born in Valencia, she grew up between Valencia and Aragon and has been based in Barcelona since 2011.
Graduated in Fine Arts from the Polytechnic University of Valencia, she studied engraving in KAUS Urbino (Italy) and later illustration and graphic design at the Escola Massana in Barcelona.

Between 2016 and 2022, she worked as a graphic designer in various private companies. In recent years, she has also taught art and design at public and private institutions in Barcelona.

She has participated in group exhibitions and illustration and self-publishing fairs in cities such as Barcelona, Valencia, Bilbao, Lisbon, and Vienna.
In 2018, she was included in the Ibero-American Illustration Catalogue, received the Eva Toldrà First Prize in the general category and obtained the Second Prize in Arts Byblio, held at the Arts Libris fair, with his self-published book . In 2019, she obtained the Junceda First Prize for Future Creators.

Between figuration and abstraction, she develops her projects with a graphic approach that seeks to capture intangible aspects of what shapes us: thoughts, emotions, sensations, and stories. Her work combines manual and digital graphic techniques, and for reproduction, she uses printing methods such as risography, screen printing, and engraving.

She sees art and artistic creation as tools for resilience and transformation. This perspective has led her to explore the world of clown, train in art therapy, and take an interest in creative processes as a pedagogical resource.
